We have somewhere to live!!!!!
Yipppeee we have found somewhere to live. We were lucky enough to come across a very laid back Russian lady who was not bothered about us not having references or jobs. We have a one bed unit in a complex about 10 min drive out of the city and about 10-15 mins to Scarborough Beach. (Very popular with the trendy surf dudes).
The complex has a small pool and a shop.
We have been getting all the boring paperwork stuff out of the way and have started going to the beach. Also been watching a bit of the Commonwealth Games on the telly.
Have been sad enough to join a video hire place so we can watch all of 'Lost'. Jase has been desperate to watch it for ages and now we are addicted.

Nice one guys. Glad to hear it's going well. I'll pass on the link to the blog to the Old Dear and the rest of the family - she's getting fairly computer literate, so she may even start leaving you messages herself soon!
Does the location of your new residence mean you'll be turning into 'trendy surf dudes' soon?
House, paperwork, beach, Lost. Sounds like you've got the priorities sorted to me!!!
