Last Post!

Hello everybody!

I don't belive it! This is going to be our last entry on our blog from Australia! Boo I hear you say, well yes boo indeed! We fly to Singapore tommorow morning, it has gone so so quick we have had a fantastic time.
For this week we have mainly been living as backpackers! Our room overlooks the beach which has been nice to wake up too every morning! Hanny and I did not really fit in as we were not getting drunk on weak beer and trying to pull everyone all day and all night!
We have sold the tank! We managed to rip off a second hand car dealer thats 1 to us and about 10,000 to car sales men, but one counts in our book!

When we return to England (Boo!) we are going to meet and greet our new neice, Abigail Jane Napper! Emma and Matt are now the proud owners of a new baby low miles, leather seats and metalic paint! She looks very lovely and baby like in all the photo's that we have seen, I hear she has lungs to rival Emma's! OH DEAR!!!!

We are off now to tidy our room, pack our cases and wait for our taxi!

We feel as we have not written much about our year on our blog but it's been hard getting off the beach and crawling into an internet cafe! But when we get home Hanny has got approx 7 DVD's of photo's thats right count them again 7, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!

See you all soon.

Take care

Jase and Hanny!

Happy Christmas

Hello Happy Christmas everyone.
Hope everyone has great hols. We are fab, we were on a cruise a couple of weeks ago, it was Jases works Christmas do. It was fantastic, it was called a 'cruise to nowhere' so really we floated out to sea a bit and stopped for 2 days and floated back again. It was a booze cruise where we all drank lots and lazed by the pool and ate lots of amazing posh food. I was the only girl out of the 14 in our party not to puke, and thats even after I made my way quite happily through the cocktail menu. I have to admit I was a bit frightened on the first night when we were trying to get to sleep in our cabin and the sea felt really rough and my mind kept going back to 'posiden' (shouldnt of watched the film the weekend before going on a boat!!!)

We had a great Christmas, champagne breakfast with our neighbours and the rest of the day spent between the beach and pigging out at home on lovely Christmas food. It was 36 degrees on Chrissy day so was a bit too hot to cook a roast (luckily, he he he).

I am currently on the computer at Jases bus yard, waiting for him to finish work.
We are not doing much for New years as I am working new years eve and new years day, but I am getting paid lots to do it, so its worth it. We havent got long left at work, we finish on the 19th Jan, then have a month of to spend at the beach and sort all our stuff out before flying on the 20th feb. We are spending another 3 days at Singapore on the way home, as Jase was poorly the first time so he didnt get to appreciate it. We arrive home on 23rd Feb. The exact same day we left on this year. (we squeezed as much time out of our visa as possible).

Thanks so much for all our cards and pressies. Will put some pics on of our Christmas soon, especially of our christmas tree, to make you giggle. Its more like a Christmas twig.

Will write again soon. Let us know how all your Christmas's were. We would love to hear.
Lots of love Hannah

Ps Sounds like our baby niecey will be popping out very soon. She is in position and ready to go!!! How exciting. Poor Ems is having to have lots of hospital check ups, but Matt is looking after them both very well. xxxx

More photo's

Hello all, have been putting a few pic's up of our trip to New Zealand.

I was fantasic but we needed much longer than a week there, its an amazing country so much to see and do!

We do not have much time at the internet cafe so will write soon about what we got up to. It was colder than Perth but the air was so so fresh! People were very friendly and the view's were breath-taking!

I did not do a bungy jump as we went away on a budget of one extreme thing to do and I chose the fly by wire thing, its the only one in the world it was fantastic look at our pic's to see what it looks like so you can get an idea!

We are both well and looking forwards to getting back to work!! (??)

Hope everyone else is doing ok, we have less than 16 week's left here in Perth then it's back to Blighty! (BOO!)

Will write again soon. BYE BYE!

Our holiday while on holiday has begun

Hello everyone!

We are on the first leg of our holiday we won on a raffle, at the moment we are in Melbourne and it's very cold its about 17 deg's! When we left Perth it was 32+!!

We leave very early tommorrow to get to New Zealand, where it's even colder, poo!

Melbourne is an amazing place very different to Perth or Sydney. There are lots of public art and crazy building's which are keeping Hannah amused! We have taken a few pic's will get them on the site when we get home.

We went up a skyscraper today to an observation deck about 270m up! The lift went up 55 floors in about 33 seconds! It made our ears pop we went so high! Also visited the musuem which was interesting and educational other than the life sized nude models of old people with there old bit's out! YUCK!!!!

Anyway must be off still have loads of the city to explore!! Also Hanny want's to go on a tram, looks like her Dad is rubbing off on her!

Take care Jase and Hanny!

Oh P.s it was the Melbourne cup yesterday and we saw lots of big hats!

It's us again!

Hello we are back, well we have not been anywhere but we are back!

We have not written anything for ages as we have been so busy. My parents and Jases parents have been out to visit and we had such a good time. We are off to New Zealand in a week so will put some photies on again after that. Looking forward to seeing the sights.

We have put a couple of pics on of what we have been up to recently, sorry there isnt many but its takes ages to put them. Oh well will just have to bore you all with the photo album when we get back in 4 months. Time is going so fast, we cant believe how quick this year is going.

Anyway hope everyone is ok and will write on here again soon.

OOOh nearly forgot the most important thing..... Im going to be an auntie!!!!!! Jase is going to be an uncle. His sis Emma is pregnant and due in Jan. How exciting. CONGRATULATIONS TO EMMA & MATT!!!! Emma is being very brave through all the sickness. The baby will be about a month old when we get home, so we would of missed all the action, which is probably best as I would probably be very interfering. Looking forward to seeing them and the new member of the family.

Lots of love
Hannah (& Jasey skinny bean head)

New Photo's!

Hello everybody!

Just a quick message to say on the right hand side you can click on OUR PHOTO ALBUM and there is now a straight link to all 4 of our album's. There are pic's of our new pad!

Have a lovely day yall!

Jason

Hello yes we are still alive.

Hellloooooo Sorry we havent written anything for ages, we have been so busy. We have moved house and Jase has got a new job and I have been working very hard at Subway. I can now make an excellent sandwich. Bet your sooo jelous. We have moved to Wembley Downs, its lovely and we now live 5 mins from both our works. Its on a hill so we get a good view from all angles. We can even see the sea from our balcony (if you squint). But we are chuffed to bits. (Click on our photo album for pics). Our lease was up on our other place and we were lucky to get this new place for not much more money.

The other amazing news is that we have won a competition- Jase told me there was a man selling raffle tickets and you got to stroke a baby joey if you bought a ticket, anyway we did, and we won first prize and have won a holiday to New Zealand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How amazing, that was the next place we wanted to go. The aussies are obviously very miffed that 2 poms won the prize. We get to plan our trip, the travel agent gave us a brochure and a map and told us to tell him exactly where we want to go and he will plan it and book all the hotels and stuff, to the value of over $5000!!!! We even get car hire for free aswell!!! He even offered us a flight where we could stop over at Melbourne aswell, so we can pay extra and get a couple of days there. So please let us know if you know any good places to visit in New Zealand and Melbourne.

We are still having an amazing time, and are getting ready for my parents coming in a few weeks and then Jases mum and dad in October. We are really looking forward to them coming.
OOH and the other thing is that I got a new tattoo. Jase and I both wanted one for a souviner (I dont know how to spell) so I got mine yesterday and Jase gets his in a fortnight. (See photo album for pic again). The outline was painful and Jase said my eyes were very watery afterwards but it was well worth it as its so pretty and the bloke who did it was so clever and did it better than I could of imagined.

Jase is really happy at his new job at a 'Bus hire & drive' place. He is learning lots of mechanic stuff and enjoying working with a good bunch of lads. He does loads of different stuff so it keeps him busy, he collects customers from the airport and also gets to drive buses.

Thats it for now. Will write again soon. Thanks for all the messages and emails, they are great. Its so nice to hear what everyone is up to.

Lots of love Hannah

PS Congratulations to my lovely cousin David who tied the knot recentlyto his girlfriend Sionedwyn. We are sorry to of missed the wedding xxxx

We are back!

Hello all!

We are back from our trip up the west coast of Oz. It was fantastic! We are trying at the moment to upload some pictures of the trip but the computer we are using today does not like us! I think its because we are Pom's!

Anyway our Trip there and back was a total of 3000 km's! I think that is about nearly 2000 miles or so! The little camper we hired did not let us down it was a little trooper! The only problem was it was a bit of a drinker! Oh well we still saw some fantastic sights along the way.

We set our alarm for 4'am........... after snoozing till 6 ish we thought we better get on the road! Now I drove the first bit and Hannah read the map, big mistake I hear all the men shout, but it was not, well until we got to a fantastic bit of Ozzy road works. Our map said the road would be finished early 2005 but low and behold they had not started it! Whoops time for a 60 km detour! Arse!

Anyway we made it to our first destination the Pinnacles. These were thousands of huge limestone pillars rising out of a stark landscape of yellow sand (I borrowed that bit!) It was an amazing place to see! There was nothing around but desert it was sooo calming!

On the road again on to our first nights stop at Geraldton which looked like a lovely City but we were a bit tired (it took a while to find the campsite) So we set up camp in our little van and after dinner we took a walk to the local beach to watch the sunset. It was a lovley beach which no-one uses so it was just us and the mozzy's!

Up early the next morning for the next leg of our trip to Monkey Mia, which has to be the most boring straight roads we have ever seen! You could see the road going over the horizon, far far away! Around you were kangaroo's lying at the side of the road (They are not sleeping, they had a run in with a vehical and lost!) which took Hannah some getting used to but we saw so many.
We made it to Denham which was about 30-40 km's away from monkey mia a good place to stop for lunch and look at the sea of shark bay. It was so calm and lovely very laid back place.

Onwards to Monkey Mia. Took about 40 min's from Denham but we made it, with one stop on the way to take some pictures of Camels roaming free through the bush! Monkey Mia is a campsite and hotel type place with nothing but empty bush and sea around you, you feel very deserted but its a nice feeling! The sea looked like glass here not one wave it was amazing and bloody freezing, suppose thats what you get for swimming in the sea in winter, still 26 c at the moment but just not in the water!!!
Up bright and early the next moring for Hannah's birthday another year near 30!!! We set of to the beach to see the Dolphins. But alas we got there late the little git's had there breaky and were vanishing into the morning sun as we arrived! But about two hours later while we were looking for Dolphin evidence they appeared, YAY! We got front row seats it was brill, they swam right up to Hannah! There is a few pictures of them in our album.

After two day's there we headed off to Coral bay with a two day stay in Canarvon (I will say no more about this place other than... ODD!)

But Coral bay was stunning we went snorkling in the Coral reef, we spent hours in the water and saw hundreds of tropical fish and coral took some pictures on an underwater cam will try to get them put on the photo album next week!

Now the trek home! We drove from coral bay to a little national park in Kalbarri. Again all I can say it was an amazing place very laid back! We did not get to everywhere we wanted to cus you needed a 4x4 and our little camper was getting shaken to death!! We had to do a 10 point turn on an outback road, which in our book is quite an acheivment! After spending a day there relaxing and eating Pizza (Its been 4 months since my last one I was desperate!!!) we headed back to Perth!

We did do alot more on this trip but I would be here for 6 weeks typing it up at my speed and I think I have written enough so help you all sleep better!

Take care and be nice to a new person you meet! He or she might be a new friend or maybe not!!!!!!

bye bye! Jason

Off on holiday, while on holiday!

Hello everyone!

We have just booked our trip to spend 8 days in a camper van travelling up the coast of W.A. We go from Perth to the Pinnacles, then onto Hangover Bay and stay the night in Geraldton. Next day up bright and early for a 5 hour drive to Monkey Mia to hopefully swim with the Dolphins and little fishies! After two days there for Hannahs B'day we go on up to Coral Bay then on to Exmouth to swim with the whale sharks (I have been told these are nice polite sharks to swim with less likely to eat you!) Then work our way back down to Perth! Covering a total of 2500 km! Will take about 1 million pictures and put some of the best on the photo album website!

Hope everyone is well, we are fine thanks!

Take care
Jase and Hanny

G'day (Jase's bit, shorter than hannahs!)

Hellllllooooooo

Wow I have a job! I am are car detailer for a Kia garage, its a good little job working outside most of the day cleaning cars, getting cars ready for delivery and taking cars for a spin to get fuel in them! Vroom vroooom!

But soon all that is going in the bin as The WORLD CUP it begins!! Can not wait! so as of the 9th of June I quit and am going to become a couch potato and watch the lovely football at 3 in the morning! (Poo) Can not wait till Austalia play Brazil cus they all think that Brazil are going to be a walk over out here. Just cus they get all those medals it goes to there head!
As nothing else happens out side of austalia I here nothing about the footy so please can you keep me updated with whats going on in the world of football.

Came off my bike the other day, been treating the jouney to work like a B.M.X Bandits film, been jumping poppin wheely's ect, anyway going along a road, down hill and fell of cus my peddles broke! So I fell of in rush hour traffic like a tool!

Been looking for new tattoo's should be getting one or four over the next few months, will get pics on once I get it sorted! Going to pierce my eye brow and inner ear too, if I am brave enough! Not going to get a prince albert!

Anyway the afternoon sun is calling us, its still 31 degrees today, but that will not last as you Pom's are going to steal our heat as we rocket towards winter!

Take it easy and enjoy our sun when it gets to you.

Jason

G'day!! (Hanny's bit)

Hello hello. Sorry we have not written anything for ages but it didnt seem appropriate as my Grandma sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. It was very sudden and unexpected and has taken time to get over the shock a bit. She was also my last remaining grandparent. Jase & I didnt make it home for the funeral but had a candle-lit little ceremony on the beach, the evening of her funeral.

So obviously not been doing anything amazingly exciting recently. I have now joined the working world again and have got myself a job at a Subway (not the underground like my mum thought) he he he. It was quite hard for me (but not Jase who gets the first job he phones up about!!) to get work as our visa only lets us work for 3 months per employer. Luckily we have both found work with companies that can offer us more than 3 months work. My boss owns 3 Subways in our area so I will be working between 2 of them, one at Wembley (no stadium there I'm afraid) and one at Floreat (near fab beach).
Its quite nice to be doing something completely different. I didnt realise how strict Subways are though. As they all have to be the same I suppose. Anyway I think Ive got the knack of putting 42 grams of lettice in each sub now! Also its lucky I don't like sandwiches very much as I would probably be the size of a house, ie if I worked in a doughnut shop, yum yum.

Apart from working we have just been chilling really (apart from going to the gym & Pilates class) been to the cinema lots and read loads of books. Got a pretty good life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will try and put some more photos on soon, we tried today but the internet cafe is so busy and the computers so slow, and gave up.

Hope everyone is ok. I cant believe we have been away two and a half months already. Its going so fast!!

Lots of love
Hannah Banana xxxx

Hello, just a quick one. Had my first surf lesson last week and I was crap! I stood up twice and grazed my knee on the sea bed (We were in very shallow water cus we were special!)
I am going to attempt more lessons very soon and if Hannah is feeling evil she might bring the camera and take some pic's so you can all laugh till you wee!

We have also joined a gym, Hannah haggled the price down cus she's tight........

Anyway we are off to the beach

peace and love to all and to all a good night!

Click here to see our photos!!! So Far.

We have done an online photo album of some of our photos for anyone who is interested in seeing where we live.
Thank you for all the lovely messages. We have also sent tonnes of postcards but the post seems to be so laid back that they seem to be taking forever. (Or some saddo stole them to read because they were just soooo exciting, tee hee hee).
Just click on the link above or click on 'our photo album' under our links on the right. Hope its simple enough to use. Its easier this way rather then sending photos to people, like I said, the staff at the post office but tanning themselves at the beach.
If anyone wants to send us some photos (please do) our bushiesontherun email does not have very big memory so send them to: hannahandjason@gmail.com
Lots of love us xxxxx

We have somewhere to live!!!!!

Yipppeee we have found somewhere to live. We were lucky enough to come across a very laid back Russian lady who was not bothered about us not having references or jobs. We have a one bed unit in a complex about 10 min drive out of the city and about 10-15 mins to Scarborough Beach. (Very popular with the trendy surf dudes).
The complex has a small pool and a shop.
We have been getting all the boring paperwork stuff out of the way and have started going to the beach. Also been watching a bit of the Commonwealth Games on the telly.
Have been sad enough to join a video hire place so we can watch all of 'Lost'. Jase has been desperate to watch it for ages and now we are addicted.
Will get photos sorted soon. Thanks for all the lovely messages. Love Hanny xxx
